Are you a Harried Christian Woman?
According to Dr. Brent Bost OB/GYN, there are 30 million women in the United States
who suffer from what he calls, Hurried Woman Syndrome. Taking into consideration the sheer
number of responsibilities that come with being a woman in our crazy world of unrealistic
expectations and unfair judgements of ourselves and from others ...is it any wonder?

If you are a Christian woman like me, sadly the burden of expectation and guilt can be even greater than our non-Christian counterparts, as we desire to do and be all those things with an added desire to do it in such a way as to glorify GOD. We are more than hurried, we are harried! ...many of us could diagnose ourselves with Harried Christian Woman Syndrome. Which, in so many ways is a much more difficult and frustrating diagnosis.
But, what if we don't have to be that way? What if we could feel whole, equipped, adequate and fully in balance between what we feel we need to be and what God desires for us? What if we had all that we needed to cure ourselves of this "harriedness"? We have it, girls. All the cure we need can be found in 2 Peter 1:3 ..."His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness." This is the message that I would love to share with my sisters and in Christ in writing as well as in person, and a message I hope inspires you as it does me to live a life fully dependent on everything we need. It may be hard to believe, but God has provided you with all the resources you need to accomplish what he has planned for you. We may need to use these resources differently or better... but we have them. Whatever the needs of you as a individual or as a group of women this message can be learned through the EYN bible study (coming in 2013) or being presented in person by Courtney herself. Find more info on possible speaking topics here. "His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of Him who called us by his own glory and goodness. Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature ..." 2 Peter 1:3-4
