Ladies Day's and Ladies Retreats are some of my favorite things to do for my sisters in Christ ..I love LOVE the planning, the creativity and the ability to pamper them with special little extra's. 

Having grown up watching my mom both speak for and plan many a ladies retreat, I have always loving participating in the these types of events that turn the focus on encouraging and uplifting women of God for just a little bit.

This weekend, I was blessed to be part of a Ladies Day at my home congregation. We focused on being 'daughters of the King' ...translation, it was all about being a Princess!

We made wishes, we played dress up, played some Musical Tiaras and even tried to find a "true" princess with our own "Princess and the Pea" test. It was a great time, complete with an encouraging message by Vicki Harvey-Helgesen of Leaving the Cocoon Ministries, a ministry for women who have been incarcerated in the state of Tennessee.

Our time together was a blessed one, as have been all of these such events I have been blessed to participate in no matter to what degree. Its because of that, that one of my God dreams to be the keynote speaker for such an event. I know God will make that happen in his time, and I look very forward to it. I know God is already hand selecting the women that will be forgiving enough to hear my weak words and love me anyways, but who will also allow me to possibility encourage them through the Everything You Need message.

This next week, I am very excited to get to speak with a MOPS group in my home town of Summerville, South Carolina. I am already praying that the words God gives me are ones that encourage and bless them!
